  Can Today's JW Logically Explain Their Beliefs?

  When I was active, I was delighted to have the opportunity to discuss the scriptural teachings I had learned. Ominously, even J.W. elders who put themselves in a public place at a trolley will very quickly end a conversation and refuse to discuss any of the org's scriptural/organizational corruptions. They'll claim it's because they're not prepared to argue or debate.

  As moreconfusedthanever said, they'll terminate the discussion by saying you should visit their God-blessed website for answers.

  Every J.W. who uses this as a get-out-of jail-free-card is flagrantly rejecting the Biblical command for Christians to respectfully defend/explain their beliefs to anyone who demands a reason for such beliefs. (1 Peter 3:15)

  this just in from the 2017 annual meeting:.

  1. watchtowers and awakes won't be released regularly, at least three watchtower and awakes per year.

  6 magazines a year.. 2. a new book is being released: remain in god's love, more of an update like how they did for the what does the bible really teach book.

  C'mon everybody, it's wonderful to see how the great increase is decreasing so quickly now, and fulfilling Isaiah 2:2 "In the final part of the days, The mountain of the house of Jehovah [the org] will become firmly established above the top of the mountains, And it [the org] will be raised up above the hills, And to it [the org] all the nations will stream."

  The charlatans in up-state New York - the WTBTS - are going out of the publishing business at warp-speed, because that cash-cow is suffering from rigor mortis.

  Electronic publications in exchange for electronic donations - that's the new game in Dub-Town.

  I'm starting a Counter-Watchtower magazine

  im starting a counter-watchtower magazine for everyone to give to their jw friends and family or just to give to those that come to your door.

  the first issue is about the history of pyramidology of c.t.

  russel and under the start of rutherford along with some other things like pointing out the fact that no one knows the translators of the nwt or writers of the watchtower, "the two very things relied on to teach you".. its writen in such a way to be very repectful but to make the reader think, and hopefully the light come on.

  U.K. NHS Attitude to Blood Transfusion and its Safety

  while visiting someone at the local hospital i saw this leaflet " will i need a blood transfusion ?

  - patient information" .

  now i was raised in the belief that doctors are transfusion-happy and just give you one willy nilly if they operate , further that a trans.

  The NHS site https://www.shotuk.org (Serious Hazards Of Transfusion) once cited various references to failings in blood management and the subsequent consequences.

  By law, U.K. hospital staff must now record every occasion when an instance of I.B.C.T. (incorrect blood component transfused) occurs. Unfortunately, such mistakes happen far more frequently than they should. (human error)

  Transfusion-Related Acute Lung Injury (TRALI) is very often fatal. (only 5ml of IBCT can result in TRALI)

  so there i was earlier today, enjoying a spot of lunch in a pleasant little cafe whilst out shopping, when up came a fella i vaguely recognised from the dim and distant past just as i was tucking into my highland soup with bread roll and butter..

  "i would never ignore you you know".. "eh?

  what" i ventured wondering wtf is this all about.

  if you think about it, jehovahs promise for the faithful is actually a bum deal.

  some would even say a con.

  Jehovahs - to be more exact, the org's promise (and requirements) for the faithful. Corporate diktats.

  thats somthing i see thats asked in my kingdom hall if you want to go get more than 2 years in collage.thing in some one asking that to me or etc i cant say any thing or that would show that i dont believe.. i hate when some one askes me that when i try to plan ahead when it comes to what job i want.what job would help me hold my own but no god will give if you put him first.i dont believe in god even when i did i never buyed into that.. it seems you cant get away from the question im only 13 and i get that question theres no getting away from it..

  Next time someone asks you that question, just nod and say, "It's got to come some time, but the Bible says that even Jesus didn't know when the end would be. Didn't he give us the principle at Luke 14:28 that we should be prepared in life? Shouldn't I apply that and prepare for my life? I don't want to live off other people like some do."

  Take it easy and keep learning. You've got your thinking skills developing.

  marriage speaker said something which changed my life for the better, and it helps me even now.

  Thanks to the treatment and seriously bad attitudes of some elders, (individually & collectively) I began to examine and research the org and its teachings. Pandora's box then opened up for me. I'm truly grateful.

  I seem to remember the org and J.W.'s pointing an accusing finger at "Christendom" for charging money for the use of their churches for christenings, weddings, & funerals.

  Welcome to the club, WTBTS.

  Looks like the cult is climbing on the bandwagon by charging congregations for "special events" now.

  Wherever J.W.'s buttocks settle, there's money to made.
